Last week, ISHOF’s Chairman of the Board, Bill Kent and ISHOF Curator and Historian, Bruce Wigo, had the pleasure of meeting and going to dinner with John B. Kelly III.
John B. Kelly, III, who goes by JB, is the son of John B. Kelly, Jr, who was President of the International Swimming Hall of Fame in the late 1970’s and early 1980’s and who was very involved with ISHOF during his leadership years. He is also brother to Grace Kelly, who married Prince Ranier of Monaco.

JB attended his mother’s ISHOF induction with her in 1988.
“It was great to catch up with JB” said Wigo. “I knew his father for many years, and swam in Kelly pool. His father and I were lifeguards in Ocean City, New Jersey.
JB was in town with his wife attending an environmental symposium. “It’s always great to reconnect with old friends.”
