The International Swimming Hall of Fame's film and video archive, which dates to the 1920's, is the most extensive and comprehensive in the world. As we continue to preserve and transfer footage from film to DVD, we will be adding to the virtual archive so that historic events from aquatic history can be enjoyed throughout the world.

1994 Honor Diver
He was charming, smart, handsome and a magnificent competitor. An Iowa native who grew up in River Forest, Illinois, he began diving at age six under Jerry Darda who coached him through high school. He was an All American High School diver from 1961 to 1963, and by the time he finished high school, he was a six time national AAU finalist.
