Narrated by Olympic swimming legend, Mark Spitz, Executive Produced by Lucy Liu and Quentin Tarantino, and Produced by WOLO Entertainment, special Freedom’s Fury DVD Features include Director's Audio Commentary from The Sibs (Colin Keith Gray & Megan Raney Aarons) and a "Making of Freedom's Fury" documentary with behind-the-scenes footage and an interview with Lucy Liu.  Stylized water polo footage includes amazing underwater and crane coverage of the 2004 U.S. National Team and features star U.S. players like Tony Azevedo and Wolf Wigo.

Freedom’s Fury has received remarkable reviews from around the globe. It had a successful Cannes market and was a hit at the 2006 Tribeca Film Festival. The film then had a major theatrical release in Hungary Fall 2006 (where it went to Number 1 at the box office for a week), followed by limited international theatrical releases that coincided with various 50th anniversary celebrations of the Hungarian Revolution and Melbourne Olympics (United Kingdom, Canada, Germany, Australia and the United States). The filmmakers were also knighted by the Hungarian government for their contributions to increasing awareness about the Revolution around the globe (December 2006), followed by a special screening of the film for Congress in April 2007 hosted by the Committee on Foreign Affairs and the Human Rights Caucus.

The International Swimming Hall of Fame and its CEO, Bruce Wigo, were early champions of Freedom’s Fury, assisting with the filming in 2002, in connecting the film with narrator Mark Spitz, and with the festival and 50th anniversary release in Budapest, in 2006.

“Freedom’s Fury celebrates the power and beauty of the sport of water polo and is one of the few films that really showcases aquatics and the spirit of amateur athletics,” says Wigo.  “This is why ISHOF is so thrilled to be associated with the DVD release of this documentary.” The DVD will be available through the ISHOF website for $24.99, or as part of a larger ISHOF membership package for $35.00. The package includes a copy of the Freedom’s Fury Collector’s Edition DVD, as well as a copy of ISHOF’s annual yearbook as well as a 10% discount on all ISHOF merchandise, including the world’s most popular instructional water polo DVDs.  A portion of all proceeds from the sale of the DVD and all water polo DVD’s will be donated to the USA Water polo Olympic athlete Fund to provide financial assistance to U.S. Olympic water polo athletes.
